TRAINING DESCRIPTION
In this training, participants are introduced to the National Earthquake Hazards Reduction Program (NEHRP) Recommended Seismic Provisions for New Buildings and Other Structures (published as FEMA P-750) through the FEMA P-749 report, Earthquake-Resistant Design Concepts. This training provides a readily understandable explanation of the intent and overview of the requirements of seismic design in general and the Provisions in particular.
TARGET AUDIENCE
The target audience for this training includes building design and construction professionals, as well as elected officials, building officials, decision-makers in the insurance and financial communities, and individual business owners and other citizens.
